Lincoln Landscaping is owned by David Lincoln and Richard Fullerton. Dave and Rick have been friends for over 25 years, and have many fond memories of growing up in Newport, Rhode Island.
David Lincoln began his landscaping career as a student while attending high school and completing college at The University of Rhode Island. After college graduation, Dave established Lincoln Landscaping as a fine gardening service in 1998. The company quickly gained a reputation for providing meticulous care and
personalized customer service. Over the next three years, at the request of customers, a full
scope of property maintenance services were added, including tree and shrub care, pest
management, & lawn services.
With over 20 years of professional landscaping and gardening
experience, David brings a tremendous amount of expertise and knowledge
to each landscape. David uses a holistic approach to solving landscape
problems, working with nature rather than against it whenever possible,
in order to achieve lasting success. He is a RI Certified
Horticulturist, Licensed Pesticide Applicator, Licensed Aborist, Licensed Equipment Operator, and ICPI Certified Paver Installer.
Rick Fullerton joined Lincoln Landscaping
as a business partner in 2002. Rick graduated from James Madison
University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. Prior to joining Lincoln
Landscaping, Rick worked as a Project Manager for an environmental emergency response contractor in California. He has studied Landscape Design at the Landscape Institute
of Harvard University, and at the Arnold Arboretum. Rick is a Licensed
Pesticide Applicator and ICPI Certified Paver Installer. He has over
thirteen
years experience in fine gardening, landscape design, and installation.
Rick has designed some of Southern Rhode Island's most exquisite
landscapes.
With Rick's partnership, and the addition of several well-trained employees, Lincoln Landscaping began to offer landscape construction services in 2003, including stonework and whole-property landscape installations.
Rick and Dave have grown their company much like their landscapes; allowing each component to reach its fullest potential and compliment the next without compromise. Lincoln Landscaping continues to provide exceptional services throughout Southern RI. They install their own designs as
well as those of landscape architects and designers with whom they
partner regularly.
